Building the bridge of the Pillar, I went to see a solo exhibition of painter Miquel Barceló in the stage of the 80's until today. The truth is that not leave you indifferent, his paintings range from hard and vivid colors - even deforming cloth out of his own two-dimensionality of the painting and turn it into a sculpture, almost, to create delicate images that target the nature at that time before him, as were the paintings he made in Africa in the late eighties, here on paper and mixed media tries to capture the atmosphere of desert, drawing simple stones delicate casting shadows on the sand, using colors ranging from off-white, through ochres and grays as well as capturing the entire image from an aerial perspective that gives much more strength to the painting. To me this is the stage that I like for its delicacy. Anyway, are nothing contemptible culinary fabric, where you just need to see the fire to see how food is cooked in pans that represents a texture full of vigor, as in fabrics that give a realistic feel very original.
